I found the below list and on 2020 rosters there were 13 former UH players. Here are the numbers from the schools listed. There were 139 players from FCS schools. Yes, I would take them as transfers in a heartbeat.
As for Jackson State, I don’t know how many former players are in the NFL now, but Walter Payton played there.
Deion Sanders was Florida State.

FAU & Tom Herman could be legit in the AAC.
Tulane has lost too many of their starters from last season & many of their coaches to be a real threat. Aside from maybe SMU, UTSA & Memphis, I don’t see a clear #1 going in the AAC this coming season.
Edit: It also sucks that we were out-recruited by old Tommy Boy, if it is to be believed that we were going after Thompson.

I haven’t been keeping up with SMU & Memphis’ recruiting for the coming season, but based on how some of the other teams are recruiting, I’m gonna be looking fwd to some of these match ups.
