I am old enough to remember when we were told that SEC defenses were elite and that is why their scores were so low. Maybe the offenses were not that good until they started hiring more innovative minds as their coaches?

Sure but they’re fortunate to not be 4-3 right now. Might be his 2nd worst season at Bama coming off losing in the title game last season with a pretty young team. Just seems like the coaching level has dropped off a bit considering this is easily the most talented team in the country.

I just think its the ebb and flow of coaching. You aren’t gonna run like a McLaren every season in college.
