Whatever Josh Heupel is Smoking and Drinking

And A&M should be 2-4 with a Arkansas made FG at the end.

Maybe the older Saban branches need pruning.

Nice reference to the Buffalo Springfield.

Maybe Josh Heupel is a Joe Walsh fan.

The smoker you drink, the player (or coach) you get. :grinning:

Unless Bama loses again before the playoffs, they still be there.

With Young, Bama would’ve rolled the Ags. I don’t think that one’s a strong indicator of the Saban era fading.

Much like UH, if he had an OC, he could have won the game late.

I predict that he might not win another NC with BOB as his OC. The guy is an idiot.

Bama’s pass defense has always depended on the front 7 to harass the QB. They are not elite with their front 7 as they usually are. The secondary plays mostly zone. Not a good combo at their level.

However, it is premature to rule them out.

Just look at the scores yesterday in the SEC, lots and lots of points scored !! Except for Vanderbilt and they don’t count😀

They all use to be 3 yards and a cloud of dust.

Those days are gone.

Hurpel’s defense was on the field too long and got tired. It’s why Tennessee lost
:what?!, they won? Well crap, there goes that theory.

Something, something, defense championships.

Saban’s lads committed penalties at an atrocious level. They lost a victory-sealing interception via a penalty.

They gave up 587 yards in only 22.5 minutes of possession by Tennessee. That is astonishing.

I think the Saban era of National Titles is over. Last January Georgia solidly beat Alabama. In September UT might well have beaten them if Ewers plays the entire game.

Up next is LSU, Ole Miss. Miss. St., and Auburn. There is a loss in there somewhere. There are QB’s as good as the Vol QB in there.

All things come to an end.

Do you all remember when we were chastised, ridiculed, maligned because swe scored so many points?
Now they call this game HISTORIC
