“We are just getting started”

Anybody on here that is still looking backwards to 2019, 2020 or even last year should listen to our players and staff. Look forward to where we are going, not where we have been.

Great list. Expect it to change dramatically over the next 10-14 days. Summer OV season is wrapping up and there are a lot of guys who committed on OVs who are preparing to publicly announce their commitments. Seems like just about every program has a silent commitment or two or more. Tech is waiting on 7. Most of those guys will be announcing very soon. I’m sure there will be news for y’all as well.

Crystal ball our way for Lavonte Johnson. Another North Shore guy…

Tech hasn’t talked to him since December. Honestly surprised he listed them.

Really good video

Last in recruiting in the Big 12

Why do we have to have this conversation every 4 months? 1. Recruiting rankings are flawed, they are based on total point collection, which means signing a larger class = more points. Especially now with the transfer portal and no cap on how many guys you can bring in a class its not an equal measure. UH has 7 recruits and 2 of them dont have a composite ranking so they arent counting towards our points. Look at average recruit rank and we are at the top of the big 12. We are signing quality recruits. Better idea instead of being lazy and looking for 1 number or metric that can tell you how to feel about our recruiting just watch the kids we are signing and see for yourself how talented they are. This gonna be a great class.

I mean TCU the national championship runner up is 9th in the big 12 right now. Because they have fewer recruits right now.
And fwiw we finished 9th in the new big 12 last year

You can’t have this both ways. You can’t celebrate four star recruits (we got 4 last year, 1 so far this year, that is unprecedented at UH in my 27 years of being an fan) and then say ratings are lazy.

Yeah for every time we say ratings don’t matter cause Case Keenum was a 2 star recruit, we turn around and say Dana has more than half of the top 25 recruits to sign this century.
