That is petty because verbals are non binding its always been that way. Nothing is certain until he signs on the dotted line but thats weak sauce if you threaten to pull someones offer because they visit somewhere else. I do seem to remember when Mack was at UT they would pull a verbals offer if they visited somewhere else.

We had some coaches who tried implementing the same strategy. If you are committed you agree to shutdown your recruiting or don’t commit.

In a perfect world yeah but you are dealing with 16-17 year olds. It’s going to happen. If I was a coach I’d say go ahead and take your visits. Make sure this is really where you want to be. I need players 100% sure and locked in or it won’t work
But CDH can’t recruit, players hate him, he can’t relate…
