Who finds it acceptable? No one finds it acceptable. No one likes it. Some just don’t find the need to find something to complain about. We all know it needs to improve.

This should answer your question.

Oh man. Brown would of been our go to receiver and opened up the passing game for Smith and Chriss. Had he stayed it would of also freed up Manjack to be more affective. Golden hurt but losing Brown to was brutal.

And Miami is having a really good year. Nice landing spot for him.

You do know it takes more than half a season for a new coach to be perfect?

63 new guys, new staff, new policies. It appears that the team is beginning to jell as evidenced by better running and less penalties.

Tom Herman has entered the chat.

Herman at FAU is not the Herman Houston got.
That ship has sailed

But it happened. And that’s the standard, like it or not, that fans are expecting. Is it justified, who knows.

Its completely unrealistic and we should know how rare what Herman did in 2015 was. And we still lost to freaking UConn that year

Without Greg Ward playing due to injury and Elandon Roberts got kicked out of the game in the first quarter for targeting. It was the first time Postma got any meaningful playing time and the staff handcuffed him with bad play calling that day IMO. They almost never let him pass, and later on in his time at UH he would prove more than capable. Had they not, we most likely would not have lost that close game up there.

I’m not saying that it’s realistic to do what CTH did in his first season at Houston. All I did was remind fans of what CWF said were two of the things that he would make a huge point to be staples of our program, and how so far, we have been even worse at them. He literally said in the offseason that they would be the pillars of what the team is built around. If you want to have excuses, have at it.

Not asking for perfection. Just pointing out what he said that their focus would be on, and how two of those have gone backwards so far. I hope that it turns around. I actually believe it will long term. It doesn’t mean that I have to love or excuse the problems in the season that we’ve had so far.

I’m not a Dana defender, am glad that he is not the head coach here any longer, and am glad that UH sought fit to make a change. All I’m pointing out is a couple of areas where the current HC pinpointed in the offseason that he would focus on improving. I hope that he achieves it over time. A shorter time frame as opposed to a long time would be preferable.

Triple post to repeat the same thing you have already posted. Way to win the internet

I was responding to different posters posts that mentioned different points if that’s ok with you. Sorry that I didn’t follow your internet etiquette. The next time you pay for my internet bill I’ll try to follow your protocol.

Don’t take it so seriously, i certainly don’t.
Keep up the Coog passion, we need as much as we can get
