Texas vs. Georgia - Any Troll Stories from Last Night - Water bottle Fiasco (ICYMI)

It’s not rocket science that what they did was not permitted under the rule book. The first time they “got together” they decided to make the call, and that’s supposed to be the end of it.

Even if there was a provision for reviewing a call like that (which is obviously not the case), the process would not entail looking at the Jumbotron for guidance.

Stop with the UT gaslighting.

I’m just stating what actually happened. They got the call right, but clearly they got there in a shocking way. The only ones gaslighting people in this thread are making claims that it was actually pass interference and that there is communications between the announcers and the officials on the field. But carry on with the UT hate. No need for facts in this thread, I guess.

It was pass interference, im OP lol. Im allowed to make that claim and no i never said the announcers communicate with the refs but the review booth does

The review booth has the game feed, i said idk if the review booth has raw feed or broadcast feed? Thats really not that big of a deal

Spoiler, im pretty sure its raw feed but you never know.

It’s all good. I’m just irked some dude comes in here and accuses me of gaslighting for saying the same thing they said on SEC Shorts. It’s what happened. You people literally hate UT more than anyone on earth, even Aggy. I’m serious. It’s bizarre the hate you have.

Counter point, why would we not hate UT lol

Well hell i was in downtown austin the night before the game wearing my UH hoodie working. Tried giving a “beat Georgia” and then another a light joke about ruining their photo and both individuals gave me the nastiest look on the planet… They really lack humility

Not to mention sitting in standing room only at last years UH-UT game, the fans were rude as hell in our proximity. Outside of cinci fans, no other fan base is that nasty

I get that you’re a very loyal to the bone ut fan and all but you literally don’t have to read Coogfans. If it bothers you so much, you literally can go over to horn fans and talk amongst your people. Otherwise, save us the lecture.

I keep hearing about this photo. What happened with that? By the way, I work with a horn and he is the typical stereotype of a ut fan.

They were taking a photo and i was kind and let them finish before walking in front of the camera and said “i’d hare to ruin a longhorns’ photo” and he mean mugged the living daylights out of me

Side note i never seen more Italian people in my life for F1

But yeah i was clearly joking, you could tell they were on edge

I dont consider it gaslighting, its okay to think its not PI. Big fan of the ole agree to disagree, because i could be wrong.

Ill do the frame by frame, its super close i get it.

Contact made

Jamming the receiver in the head im neck

Almost knocking receiver off his feet

Full arm extension to separate

Angle 2 (better angle)

Textbook chest to chest, just like i was suggesting

Hands WAY to high, not textbook

Snapped receiver’s head back

Literally grabbing and controlling the receiver’s shoulder pads, preventing him from turning around and yanking him to gain leverage

Now if you dont see at least a defensive hold here then okay. We may see it different, it was such a fast play

I’m getting PTSD flashbacks of the folks who would come on and post slow motion screenshots of Donofrio’s defense.

Not shocking - illegal. That’s what actually happened.

There’s no gray area here. The officials changed the cal they had discussed and made only because UT fans delayed the game by throwing trash on the field. That’s not UT hate - that’s what actually happened.

If the officials are going to let fan interference dictate how they call the game, then they should have also penalized UT 15 yards for acting like rioters and throwing stuff on the field.

That’s PI.

Maybe we should have thrown water bottles when the ut lawyer / replay official wouldn’t review our obvious first down last year …

It’s a judgement call which was made and then reversed. I personally think it was PI as well.

They would’ve just called the game at that point and given UT the win over the on the field protest. Any excuse to lean in their favor is historically the way the wind blows. :man_facepalming:

SEC Shorts lampooned it pretty well, I loved the Aggie yell leader saying “We told you this was going to happen.”

So throwing #% on the field is supposed to be a personal foul against the home sideline, right?

But in Austin its s precursor for getting your way.
