Semi-OT Per ESPN: Longhorn found dead in front of Oklahoma State fraternity house day before Big 12 Championship Game

Before anybody asks, yes UT has lashed out and is already using this to justify never playing Oklahoma State again.

Apparently it’s an inter-fraternity thing, one frat going after an ag frat for being rednecks or something. Some frat is going to be no more after this.

That bull was killed in just the most gruesome manner possible and there is a whole conspiracy behind the act that police will find.

Yeah there was a thread on Reddit about it. Somone said that F FH was carved on the longhorns stomach. FH for FarmHouse fraternity, the house in which the horn was found dead in front of.

This is proof there is nothing better to do in Stillwater lol

Funny OSU is a well-respected AG school.

Me too, thank God it wasn’t. Still, this is a horrible story.

WTF. How do you sneak in and out doing that? Was everyone on the block passed out drunk from the night before? Sombody should have seen somthing in time to call the cops.

Animal cruelty is not funny, it is a crime actually. Stay away from jokes on it.

Ironic, sure but not funny.

Funny has different meanings… Ain’t that funny?

There is no evidence of animal cruelty yet. You have a dead COW, with some letters carved in it and its entrails spilled. Now if they find the superficial wounds and the disembowlment took place prior to the death then you might have a case for animal cruelty. If the perpetrator/s did not own the cow then you might have a case for theft, and a case for unsanitary care or disposal of the carcass. There could be a case for zoning violations as well. The only way it could be animal cruelty is IF the superficial injuries occurred before the beast died, and i highly doubt they were…i dont see frat boys carving letters into a bulls flesh while its alive and not being severely injured themselves.

While it may not meet the legal standard for animal cruelty, it is close enough that it isn’t appropriate for jokes here, in my opinion. I’m not the only one with this opinion as you already saw.

I thought they found, you know, a dead Longhorn. Like a person Longhorn.

But it is a dead cow. And not Bevo.

Carry on.

Now that would be an actual murder.

It very likely would be spoiled by the time any initial criminal investigation and removal was finished. Either way, was not something to joke about.

Unless they found a longhorn dead from natural causes it is animal cruelty.

And… None of us know right now…

Where and who joked about it? I missed it and can’t find it

I wasn’t joking. I was saying “funny” in terms of “curious” or “ironic” but I fully expect you to emote over something you can’t comprehend.
