I too am under the impression Trey Holtz was promoted to QB coach but there is nothing official or set in stone if contracts aren’t signed . I guess we will know in a few days .
He was helping with qbs this past season. We will see if he’s still here when the dust settles.
Hester’s facility on NOLA Northshore was sweet
2nd only to 'Traction '- Baton Rouge (Ryan Clark and Ryan Theriot -former Astro ?) when I lived in S LA.
Ryan Theriot–Now that’s a name from the past. Who can forget old Tootblan?
I’m not familiar with coach Bell, but Baylor fans are celebrating his departure.

Maybe Shawn Bell brings this kid with him?
The more level headed ones think they are losing coaches from the wrong side of the football and not Celebrating his departure.
I think it’s to flip DJ Lagway from Florida
Man would be awesome to get DJ, but looks like this past weekend he visited Florida again and had a great time and quoted looking forward to signing, early signing is Dec 20th, always can flip tho, crossing fingers
Well with UF’s 2024 schedule, they’ll probably be looking for a new HC and Lagway may be in play again.
I thought the Schobel’s from Columbus went to TCU. Did Adam not get the memo?
We were discussing this with Derek yesterday about Early being retained. Look at the players he had in the past…Turner, Hall, Anenih, Jones and Derek. They were play makers. Maybe the talent was a bit of a drop off from a year or so ago. Just can’t understand how he can falter that much as a coach in one year.Derek is glad he’s staying.
Thanks Twinmom . Do you folks get any vibes about Coach Fritz et al ? How about the players coming in ?
Thank you .
Ceasar and Caldwell were all-conference players this year. I don’t know how @red80 can say they weren’t very good while the opposing coaches in the conference are naming them all conference. Heck, Ceasar was honorable mention as defensive player of the year.
Of course those two. They were great last year.
Derek thinks it’s a good hire. He did a lot with less resources and less recruiting than what UH has. Personally, I think he will be an asset. Don’t know as much about all the schematics like you guys, but I think it’s a good move.
Thanks Twinmom,
He seems to be a mature family man with a tremendous work ethic . I am impressed with his effort To date.I think it is a good hire as well .
TBH, Dot being injured didn’t help. Our defensive line was a lot better against the run when he was in.
Definitely. He seemed to have on going injuries that kept getting aggravated.
Wow, the next generation of Schobel already
I love their restaurant
