Nothing is certain in college football. Wild times! Early went from not being retained to being retained after a month to Mizzou in a span of 50 days. Big loss indeed!

I liked Early but in this business, you can’t get too attached to a coach because of the transient nature. My own feeling is that even if Early had stayed, he would have been gone after this year.
It’s late to be looking for a replacement but not impossible. This allows CWF to hire his own DL coach, which is better in the long run.

He was let go by Willie and then asked to come back. Good move for him.

They have Brandon Jones as the OL coach, might as well bookend it.

Yeah this is definitely a gut punch, but I’m not surprised if Early had some eerie feelings towards this entire situation
It really sucks how this played out, but Early was a good guy and coach. Can only wish him nothing but the best
Seems like his wife wants to stay in Houston.
