Uconn isn’t getting invited. Won’t happen. Uconn narrative is propaganda from pac12 offices that comes up every time big12 does something positive.
Take out tier 2-4 and we’re good. LOL
I listened to the interview, he simply said there was no disagreement between the presidents and Yormack regarding adding G5 schools. Reporting that there was some sort of conflict was not accurate
Smoaky on Tuesday said, his sources told him that UCONN was a solid no.
His source is clearly Baylor.
Can I just say in this round of realignment so far the lack of irresponsible rumor mongering is quite disappointing.
If I’m the Big 12 schools then I think I tell Yormark to go to ESPN/FOX and get them to amend our deal to give UConn a full tv share. If they will then the “numbers don’t lie” and they can be added. If not, then no, I’m not adding a G5 and diluting my payout for some future possibility of value added.
Seriously you’ve lucked out with the best deal you can get in this market and you want Yormack to alter it for freaking Uconn?
SMH
NOBODY wants or is going to add UConn. So it is said so let it be written.

At this point - I trust mhver3 over conzano and wilner
DFW. That’s the area they’ll target.
Let’s bring in Arizona and fall it quits.
… unless Oregon/Washington want to come then great. That’s our 16 teams
Yormark is baiting Zona, Oregon and Washington
We would take all 3, but he’s trying to scare them
FIFY.
They weren’t in the PAC in 1990.
They have only been in the PAC 12 years.
They were pulling California recruits at a HIGH level long before they ever started playing USC/UCLA.
Big 12 is just dying of Cancer and CU does nothing to stop it or something.
Heather Dinich reporting “we’ve got room for one more”.

My question is what is AZ, OR, UT or WA waiting for?
Hope so. Let’s git er done
It’s a bait tactics from Yormark
We’ll cap expansion to 16 with AZ, UO, and UW.
If it was up to Oregon, they would drag this out until infinity, but if one more team leaves the PAC even if it’s just Arizona, then there’s no way in hell any G5 team can make up for a media deal capable of saving the PAC.
The PAC is screwed. They’re trapped with nothing but a slow painful death
We all know the B1G and SEC will likely widen the revenue gap. If the Big XII simply looks to maximize revenue, we are playing our own game, not the one the P2 are playing. And at what point does the return on spending diminish regarding whether programs win or lose? Northwestern and Vandy, etc., are testaments to that.
This version of the Big XII should have a nice 15-to-20-year run. Fornelli is focused on the wrong thing.
