@Footballer13 the Texas Tech and West Virginia ones are interesting. Really good NIL. Great fan support.

How quickly does Mccasland gets Tech to the tournament. Being a .500 team and missing the tournament, not acceptable at Tech anymore

And West Virginia is a wild card. What if the assistant wins, goes to the Sweet 16. Does he get the job like Rodney Terry did? If they stink this yr, does Andy Kennedy at UAB get it? I don’t love his coaching style. Athletic teams, but no defense

Yeah they are tricky. I could see them falling behind in such a good conference. Tech has had rumors of NIL donors being unhappy so they may lose some of that support. And same thing for West Virginia is they could fall behind a bunch of teams and lose out on recruits and NIL donors.
Replacing a head coach last minute is really hard. Especially when players he recruited leave. It could be a rough season for them and we all know with UH that a historic program can go down in the dumps quickly. And some fans may not want the interim coach to succeed based on him. I know some Texas fans were scared they would do to well in the tournament and Rodney Terry would get the job but wouldn’t do well the following years.

Side note, I also ranked Cinci quite high because I am a Wes Miller believer and they are recruiting some high level kids. They are going to get a lot of 4 stars. They will definitely be back to regular Cincinnati ball soon.

I think you over ranked Baylor. It should be Kansas, Zona, Houston

If you ask me, winning the Big 12 is more significant than winning March Madness

So many great teams in the conference

This is to BBall what the SEC is to football.

No easy nights…

It’s like I told my wife: we’re going to have to get used to losing more games of basketball, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

ESPN licking their chops at the marquee basketball match-ups: UH vs Kansas, UH vs Arizona, Kansas vs. Arizona, etc.

UH basketball will get exposure like we have never seen.

I’m trying to prepare myself for this now :joy:

I hope kellen is ready!

Coach Kelvin is still around. He hasn’t hinted at retirement, yet!

Terrible take my man. Sorry. But that’s terrible.

Not quite but getting closer. To be like SEC football, you will need to have Gonzaga +UConn or Duke + North Carolina

UH ticket prices

 that might be the best team in college basketball …

im only half way through and they look dominant, alot of their players got a ton better … they already looked good as is before, not accounting for player improvements

mccullar who is more of a defensive specialist looked like offensive dynamite
Dickinson who is a dominant low post scorer was knocking down tons of shots (3s and mid ranges)
kj adams who didn’t make a 3 all season last year (their 4), hit multiple 3s
elmarko jackon (their freshmen) looks sooo good

those 4 looked way better than i had expected (and the expectations were already high)

dejaun, timberlake and morris were about what I expected- which are very good players

defense wasnt spectacular but the national team had some nba players, and its august…and its hard to worry about their D when they have 3 DPOY candidates… dickinson probably a lock for POY
