Miami got there out of sheer luck. Two games in a row they had at least one person get NBA Jamz cheat code hot. Against UT they had a guy not miss a single shot. The first game they had without someone having a career game they got trounced.
But in single-elimination tournaments, luck is part of the equation.

And he is not known for his humility. Michigan fans never seemed to like him for whatever reason.
Uconn beat Miami because they guarded them much better than UH or UT did. The first half UConn gave Miami zero looks, everything was difficult and contested.

And it was just not regular 3 pt shots they were making it was 30 ft crazy shots they were.
I don’t think Miami got lucky… They were 10th in total points scored for the season.
We didn’t get second chance opportunities AND we let them get way too many transition points.
Combine that with Pack’s ridiculous game and we were done.

Michigan couldn’t make it. We aren’t Michigan. And nobody is saying Dickinson would carry the team. He’s a piece of the puzzle and IMO a damn good piece in addition to the other damn good pieces we brought in.
Adding Cryer, Dunn, AND Dickinson to a team with Shead, Roberts, Sharp, and TA makes us a strong contender for the Final Four. Maybe “lock” wasn’t the right word, but who else do y’all see with a team like this?
CKS probably isn’t reaching out because it’s a relationship business and if he doesn’t have any ties to him its a waste of time. Besides the $$ good bigs demand you have to have a relationship with the player or his family.Certain schools…mostly blue bloods maybe able to cold call like that but I don’t think everyone understands how much relationships play into recruiting.
