We're winning the Academy War in Meyerland

Imagine how many racks of merch if the new uni stuff was available?

I was at the Meyerland Academy the other day and she said they are only supplying UH gear now and have pulled back a lot of their college gear. So, no more UT and A&M gear.

EDIT: I meant to say Academy, not Walmart.

Good to see Academy support the local team. After all, they are a Houston area company with their headquarters in Katy.

Academy in Sugarland was downright embarrassing - nothing but a kid T and a dirty baseball cap. about month ago. Will run over to Meyerland.

We must have played together and had I believe we had a 31 game win streak until '79 when we lost one game. It was to Woodson JRH if I remember correctly. Fun times.

Went to scope out the selection this past Sunday on Father’s Day - they have nothing UH not even hats

Not sure what’s with the SL location, plenty of aggie and longhorn stuff though

Academy sold out to a private equity firm from Chicago.

I live in the Spring/Woodlands area and seems to me all the merchants out here are severely tied into a&m and texas.

Boo, that sucks. I learned something today.

Guess I will keep shopping at REI.

Still too early in the summer to start thinking about updating my gameday wardrobe.

Saw several varieties of T-shirts at a Popshelf in Cypress. $16 each Mostly generic stuff but better than the selection most places these days, and no other universities stuff.
