I don’t think my thoughts on uniforms will have any effect on UH being in the limelight. I go to the games and wear Coog colors. I will be wearing a white UH shirt Saturday because I sit in the sun and it will be hot.
I was a big Oiler fan during Luv Ya Blue and even went to the Dome to welcome them home, but I am first and foremost a Coog fan. The Oilers abandoned us, the Coogs never will. You have your opinion, I have mine; I will let it go at that. But whatever colors they will be wearing, I will be there supporting them. One advantage is the light blue will be a bit cooler that red.

Maybe the jersey will show up at a street takeover and fly out of a mustang when it smacks a curb or wall. Lots of people will have their phones out to catch the action and post on their Insta.

Just showed photos of the uniforms for the opener to my brother who doesn’t care for UH sports and he said “fire, straight fire you gotta buy a shirt like that”

…because they win sell out 100k stadiums and have interest in cities outside of their own which we don’t even warrant #1 billing in our own city
Generally, I am a school colors kind of guy, but the buzz this is creating for the program and players is undeniable. That is, to large degree, the point. Debut this in a game that needs ticket sales, not UT, which will sell out.
This is a motivator that will extend to multiple games. Hopefully, UH will be undefeated when we play TCU.
