A small thing, but I am “subscribed” to the University of Houston Google calendar and it’s pretty much been dormant since I did. I just hadn’t gotten around to deleting it. But it actually looks like they’ve added the 2022-23 football games to the calendar. It wasn’t a big deal putting the games in there myself (there’s an Android app called TheScore that makes it really easy) but I’m glad that somebody noticed and decided to tend to this.

So how do I get it to put the Coog games on my Google calendar?
To subscribe to their calendar:
- Go into Google Calendars, click the “+” by “Other Calendars”
- Click “Subscribe to Calendar”
- On the left, click “Search for Calendar”
- Click “Sports”
- Find the sport/team
The other option is through an app called TheScore. Basically find the game you’re looking for, click the three dots, calendar, add. (You may have to give the app permission to change your calendar, though that may happen with installation)
The advantage to the former is that it ads all the games all at once. The advantage of the latter is that you can modify the games
Mine just show up on google calendar and has for a number of years, ios, even the sports I don’t have season tickets. I believe at one time I subscribed through a company called stanza and you got to pick the sports you wanted added. Since then, I believe UH and Stanza have canceled their partnership. I still receive updates however. They added the football schedule a while back and just updated the times that are known this week. I received emails from stanza asking me to subscribe, but they keep showing up so I will not do anything. Not much help, but it is available. Just not sure how you would subscribe now.
