Boise is a great team to play early in the season. Very good chance they get better as the season goes on, would not be shocked if they look sloppy for the first month or so. I really like the kid Alston though.

ill be honest gorham on alston sounds like a terrible idea
i might start the game with dejon on alston, grimes on kigab
and gorham on akot

akot is the most mysterious to me, wasnt used much on offense at Arizona (was the defense rebounding guy) but that played a part in why he transferred to a smaller school, he was still a 5star
that 3manweane article down played him and insulates he was coming off the bench- but a recent Rothstein interview their coach hyped him up big time and said he was likely to start

4 6’7+ offensive players on the court at 1 time will create interesting matchups
but you are right, the 1st team that came to mind when looking at their roster was sdsu in the tourney for me too

Yeah you may be right regarding Gorham on Alston the more I look at Alston’s game. He isn’t super quick but does have a good first step off the deck.

What about J’Wan Roberts? I know CKS has talked about his shot blocking and athletic abilities, but I don’t know how that might translate to all around defense.

Our 4s and 5s seem pretty interchangeable as far as positions go but I think we will see a lot of Chaney, mixed in with Gorham,Gresham and Roberts. Positions don’t matter to me, we can go by matchups.

Well, if you want to have more than just a few home games this year, then you need teams capable of travelling here by bus. Hence McNeese, Lamar, and Rice. - [Using a “What’s in your wallet?” tone of voice: When was the last time you got on an airplane? ]

Anybody else ready for bball season

I like the confidence of our athletic department
based on the final game of the year!

Wish they would at least update this with what they currently know (Boise on 11/27 and Texas Tech on 11/29).

Is there still confusion as to the location of the Boise State game ?

Are we still getting Lamar as our first game on the 25th?

Its weird that it’s 23 days until game time and they haven’t figured out seating.

Its sounds like behind the scenes, scheduling in CBB is a mess and everything related to it.
