FWIW, Big12 didn’t release the basketball conference schedule until September 26 last year. Maybe with 2 less games it won’t take as long this year…
There was a lot of stuff going down last year on the Big 12 schedule. Coaches hated the 20 games. It should be released earlier this year.
There’s more certainty around the Players Era Festival this year as well. UH and others were working on contingency plans into September.

So we are looking at 18 conference games and 13 OOC games it seems.
Our record of 19 Big 12 wins cannot be broken, or even tied!

even when it was at 18 in our debut season it didn’t come out until late september so idk about that 
I would like to play Michigan, St John’s, and Syracuse from that lot. That covers big10, big east and ACC conferences. We are already playing Auburn from SEC. If there is a finals game, then would like to see Alabama. We owe them.
As long as we don’t have late tipoffs at home on a weekday night, then I’m good.
UH start times will be whatever the Big 12 and espn networks wants

Well once BIG12 play starts you will definitely see several 8:00 ( actually like 8:10) starts. The window times for ESPN & ESPN2 are 6:00 & 8:00 n has been like that for many yrs. Don’t see it changing.

I’d like to see Rice, TSU, HBU and UH play in a mini city tournament.
They have something like that annually for Philadelphia colleges.
We already have major tournament and bunching games together creates other lulls in the schedule.
No reason to waste two games on scrub local teams.

It could be a fundraiser.
If you have early tip off weekday games, seats will be empty. Lot of folks still at work.
