Did you see the school caliber offers that he has? Clearly IMO he is a five stars.
That’s what I heard as well. He didn’t make first team all district. The North Shore cornerback we recently offered did.

Don’t get to caught up in All-District teams….many times there are grudges and stupid politics….
I’ve seen honorable mention guys that were head and shoulders better the first and second team guys.

Things change ….the original staff backed off and the current staff decided to go that route as well . Early on he was headed here, maybe he should have committed in the beginning but I don’t know . Like I said things change and we aren’t privy to all the factors that decisions are based .
Neither the Holgy or Willie staffs offered.
One story I’ll relate… in the Helton days there was a local db on the chronicle top 100 list for the State of Texas. He never committed anywhere, then at the signing day deal we showed him signed. I said to Helton WOW we got top 100 so in so. Helton scoffed … more like bottom 100. He was here one semester then gone!
