First season was fantastic, it has been down hill since.
I’ll give them credit though, I can’t predict what is going to happen next. I will say, that I rewatched all the season 1 and 2 before season 3 and you catch so much stuff you missed at first!
That is true about several shows but especially with season 1. When you watch it again little details that are important later jump out.
Season One is the best but i think the other two are better than they get credit for. Sesson two was slow and not as interesting until they got to the native American story. Season three had some neat parallels to our world but got to far away from the original concept. I have hopes this season will return more to the park
I quit in the middle of season two.
One of my favorite shows was The Man in the High Castle on Prime.
I didn’t dig the ending but liked the show overall.
I wanted to like that show. But i watched all of season one and didn’t feel like giving it another try. Love the setting and premise just couldn’t get into the actual show.
Just finished Night Sky on Amazon….first few episodes I had to make myself keep watching…… then it kept getting better…. Great ending and cliffhanger for next season….
I recommend.
Also,
Has anyone seen first couple of episodes of Dark Winds? I missed them but have recorded…. Wanted opinion….
They botched the ending
West World is what’s wrong with TV today. I’m not a conspiracy theorist but all the sex and nudity does make me think that Hollywood is full of crazed sex predators. It adds nothing to the story. Even the softcore porn is unnecessary.
Easy answer, don’t watch it. Don’t subscribe to HBO.
Norb won’t watch it. He’s not asking to yank it off the air. He might like other stuff on HBO. He’s questioning if shows like Westworld need sex and nudity to tell their stories or are sex and nudity simply presumptive elements, just like some people add salt before tasting their food?
Yeah his right to do so. Kind of raises an interesting point why as a society are we so hung up on sex and nudity? We’re all ready more ok with high levels of violence but natural things like sex and nudity are not ok in entertainment. I don’t get it, no judging we were all raised that way. I’m trying to have less hang ups on it but still have some sometimes.
Just a fascinating conversation.
The thing is, you don’t even need nudity or sex to have a good story. Look at the top grossing movies of all time, hardly any nudity or sex in them. What’s that tell you? Besides that Disney rules movies?

Not one of those dinosaurs had a stitch of clothing on.
Do we need violence to tell stories?
I think most of those movies had some sort of violence in the story. I guess that means sex/nudity bad. Violence good.
Yup that’s how we grow up in America
Violence? No. It’s good vs evil. The oldest trope known to man kind.
