Maybe the players we reached out to weren’t interested and maybe we weren’t interested in others.
And maybe coach did not want to hurt Coog culture and go after someone who would disrupt team chemistry.
We are a guard oriented team and maybe that is the reason we can’t recruit elite bigs.
No matter it appears we are set for next season and will go to the Big 12 as an underdog, a role Sampson thrives on.
