I knew I wasn’t crazy. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Edit: and I know Kyle was being little sarcastic when he said they never won either. I guess if the ultimate trophy :trophy: is the only thing to gage on , then nope they never won. :person_shrugging:

I’m just saying it wasn’t Olajuwon and nobody… He had another NBA HOFer on there and multiple NBA players.

Also, it was just a joke… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

We may have to reconcile in our minds that our front line in 2023-24 will consist of Roberts, Francis, Tugler and Lath. I think they would like to RS McFarland if that is possible.

Not by any means a bad lineup, but it would be a stretch to think that lineup could compete for the conference championship. The good news is that all teams need to do is find way to make the NCAA Tournament. Then, everybody has a chance.

I understand thats where we sit at current, but the Dedan sweepstakes is closed and we’ve got an open ship.

we could (and should) bring in someone still, is all im sayin.

No reason not to use it. Mercy Miller isn’t coming early and we don’t have any other 2024 commitments. The ship better be used. I mean someone is better than nothing. As long as they will have a spot in the rotation.

Honestly is Nelson being seen anywhere? At any college? I guess the information on him is quiet because he potentially still stays in the draft?

He was offered by a lot of big names, UH included. He had a workout 2 days ago with the Indiana Pacers. They sat down with him for an interview and said he was working on his shot. Teams want him shooting the 3 ball better and finishing with his left hand. The rumor was he was going Pro most likely but he wants to be guaranteed to be drafted at a certain spot. He would be drafted for sure but what does “at a certain spot” mean? I would assume first round and to be honest I doubt he is going first round.

Maybe a team takes a shot at him late first round but I doubt it. Do teams want to take on a 21 year old project for the NBA? I think maybe a contending team would but I would also imagine a contending team would take someone who could make an impact day one and potentially be a role player for the upcoming year. There are guys like that in the late first round. Guys doing it this year like Christian Braun.

nelson wants to stay in the draft but knows he isnt getting drafted at a guaranteed contract spot… he wants to try to boost stock in the combine, if not then he’ll start looking at schools

Doesn’t the combine start tomorrow? I thought it was this weekend but it shows May 16th-18th. I read an article where stuff starts today. Apparently, Nelson and a group of others are going through a few drills from 3-5pm ct.

Does anyone know if we made room for dedan by encouraging the Texas Tech transfer to leave?

safe bet

I don’t know but I imagine it would’ve happened anyways. We would have had too many guards. Shoot, we have like 7 guards now and Sampson usually runs an 8 man rotation.

Daimion Collins, looks like TCU might have the edge
