People do it for grad school all the time without the routine of practice and being part of a team, which is more similar than totally different among different programs. He’ll be fine, enjoying the weather. World class weather.

I think we would at least have a good selling point for Nelson. The article mentions how he will fit in well with Creighton, Gonzaga, and Arizona because of their offense.
Well, we can develop his offensive game just as well. We play a different style but he’s already a pretty good offensive player with a few things to work on. Sampson won’t tell him what he wants to hear.
The staff and CKS want these guys to succeed at the higher level. It’s why Sampson didn’t bring back Sasser for Nova in the Elite 8. Partially because he didn’t want to mess with the mojo but also because he wants Sasser to be healthy in the long run for his career and life.
The staff will work on Nelson’s left hand and this is the the perfect place to work on his defense. His on ball defense is pretty good but he needs to learn how to be a team defender. Our program is perfect for that just watch this video and it gives an idea of how CKS and staff could improve him on defense.
I think we give him a good sell. Does he want the chance to be a first round pick and have a guaranteed contract? With a former NBA coach is has produced NBA guys recently? (Jarace, Grimes, Sasser).
Also our development of stretch bigs recently. (Gorham, Fabian, Jarace). I know they all play differently but still… I think we would have a good presentation for him.

So Dickenson got offered $4million for two years to come to Kansas. Players have become mercenaries no love for the school just the money now.

If i was a team, that was constantly losing multiple players to the portal, cause of no NIL, I would hate the transfer portal. And probably have a negative view of college sports
