This feels like ‘done deal’ Lofton all over again.
You can tell when some only believe or know the word CULTURE as a punch line.
How’d we miss this?!?
Kelvin: If you look at our starters, there’s a good chance 4 of them will be back
(8:15)
CKS looking sharp for the award!
Better WITHOUT Shead? That’s high expectations. Hope you’re right.
Nate
When was the last time we had four starters back? The final four year maybe?
Well that’s a fun nugget for sure.
Yeah, pretty much.
Jarreau, Sasser, Grimes were pretty much starters by end of 2020 season.
But Fabian missed a good chunk of the next yr, with his injury
4 starters back would be huge. Especially with Jojo’s injury. Gotta ease him back
Sorry should’ve clarified more. I meant in the front court. But I think we can be better in all areas outside of Pg. mercy miller can provide more scoring off the bench on the guard position, TA and Jojo hopefully remain healthy. MCFarland is a beast ready to be awakened.
But there also some things that this team does that aren’t as good probably as last years team.
And I also think Dedan will improve in the summer. And he was pretty good for a reclass pg.
I think it’s possible we remain at the same level next year especially if J’wan returns.

With the way the transfer portal is going these days, in order to put yourself in a really good position to win it all you have to basically have a super team. This would be ours for next year:
- Dedan Thomas
- LJ Cryer
- Sharp/Arceneaux
- Roberts/Tugler
- Francis/McFarland
That’s an elite 8 man rotation right there move it around based on performance/match ups/ whatever. Not sure how much deeper coach wants to go but Walker is one of my favorite players I’d love him to continue to provide additional depth for our team he’s absolutely an important piece to our national title aspirations.
I agree. That one transfer who could only remember 5 schools that reached out all being big schools and named us. Thats different, we’re different now.
KJ will get time…slot him in behind Cryer.
We aren’t bluebloods, but according to CKS
Injuries happened! Ill rather have a nice 10 men who can come in if needed and not have a major drop off!!!
Him and Mercy Miller give us something Cryer dont have… height and length.
Because he is expected to be on the team, but not necessarily in the rotation this season.
Please don’t ever mention our leading scorer in the same sentence as two young prospects have haven’t even scored a college basket yet.
