Tom Herman FIRED

TH as our OC, if we fire Barbay?

Come home Tom. Tom Herman is Houston’s next Offensive Coordinator.

Will never happen. Tilman would never allow anything like that

Yea, the guy who gave as Dana. Tilman needs to go sit in a corner somewhere.

Sweet infant baby Shasta swaddled in your luv ya blue jersey, please do NOT let this happen for Christmas

We do not need TH here, even as an OC.

There’s always someone just waiting to post some tone deaf, ridiculous thing like “tom herman for OC”. That kinda stuff really needs to stop. It’s ignorant and really dumb. TH would be a distraction and he would be looking to bounce at the first HC opportunity. Huh, just like last time. Imagine that.

If you read what’s out there, it said he was searching for P4 OC gigs this season, while HC at FAU. But, yeah sure, bring him back. That’s what UH needs an egotistical loser drama queen distraction for round 2 of “use and dump.”.

Some of you are absurd.

Wow so dude was shopping for OC jobs while HC of FAU. Seems really familiar

Maybe if we have some demolition work to be done, or to lay some tiles.

Rice not a bad idea despite FAU debacle. They need a volume recruiter these days.
Edit: read above as sarcasm.

List of openings at end.

FAU a good gig compared these G5 Whistle Stops.

Where is he quoted saying this?

It’s inscribed at the base if the palm trees.

He got a huge payday after being fired at UT.

Despite being a more entrenched Longhorn and past indiscretions, Applewhite appears to be a far better person than Judas.

If Herman is fired, who gets custody of Cris Carter? He is currently on Herman’s staff as Executive Director of Player Engagement.

I thought he was working for ESPN

It has been years since Carter was at ESPN. He went to FS1 to host First Things First, and that fizzled out, and has a podcast in addition to FAU duties.

FAU is not an atm machine. Three years left and to pay him $4M’s? Read between the lines. FAU has been playing horrible for weeks

His recruiting at FAU was terrible. His next gig will not be HC

He’ll be an OC somewhere, just not here

hard to recruit when you don’t have built-in benefits - FAU is a hard gig - good stepping stone gig but his motivation is pretty much gone honestly - some guys never can recover when their dream job didn’t work out

plus, he can’t be the same hermann like he was at UH with those intense practices that ended a career or two and sleeping in the coach’s office. -folks are wired differently now

Hard to recruit when everyone can see you’re a douche
