The last week of the Men’s Basketball regular season is upon us, and UCF’s 53-49 win over Number 15 Cincinnati caused a court-storming at CFE Arena and simultaneously opened the door for #14 SMU to claim an outright regular season title.
With a one-game lead on Cincinnati, SMU’s magic number for clinching the outright regular season title is 2, and the Mustangs will try to cut that number in half on Thursday night when they host Tulsa, holding a 20-game winning streak at Moody Coliseum, tied for the fourth-longest in the country.
On the women’s side, teams are ready to go… the bracket is set for the American Championship. The tournament, which gets underway Friday at Mohegan Sun Arena, will feature all 11 teams as they compete for the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
