I gave it a “like”. Not for the concept but that UH was included.
For the most part this seems like breaking the private schools away from the public universities.
Switch Maryland, Kansas, Illinois, Georgia Tech, Syracuse, Rutgers, and Mississippi State for Utah State, Memphis, Fresno, Oregon State, Marshall, Wake Forest, and Washington State.
Yes. I didn’t even want to waste time by listing some thst were in Top, that never will be-- Marshall… pllsss.
Sourry but how did mississipi state get bounced to D2?
I’m genuinely confused by how this “future” is broken down. Is this a Div 1 and Div 2 type breakdown? The so called good programs vs. bad programs and there are separate championships for each division?
Regardless, this is dumb. As If the SEC, ACC, PAC, Big 10 or even Big 12 would agree to its member institutions being separated and / or relegated to a lower division. This is college sports ignorance at its most visible.
Did you create this list Pearland? I could not find the origin.
I would love to see SDSU but the PAC12 will veto it. Too many great recruits in the greater San Diego County area.
Gosh i hope not. More the merrier for competition.
No way
Yeah, the future from someone goofed on skunkweed…cmon!
It’s great to see UH in the hypothetical Top Division.
But it’s HIGHLY unlikely that any current P5 would take a demotion, and it’s INCONCEIVABLE that any B1G or SEC member would.
Given that, I safely dismiss this graphic.
Just slide Memphis down to that lower tier and we’re good.
App State, Memphis, Marshall and Utah State in the top division? Errrr, yah right
I don’t see the SEC booting any team – especially original members.
It would be neat if it had Promotion/Relegation like the soccer leagues. Wouldn’t that be something.
I did a quick glance and saw 6 privates in the top division. This seems more like a person that has little knowledge of college football and randomly stuck teams in a division based upon their personal name recognition.
Unless the NCAA folded altogether and everyone had to start from scratch, this isn’t a thing.
This…is going to be a long summer………
There’s absolutely no way Illinois, Maryland, Kansas and Duke would be D2 and Memphis and Marshall D1, someone was hitting the Devil’s Lettuce. I like that we’re D1 though.
