If you like historical maps about Texas, the General Land Office has an extensive collection that you can purchase prints from. I have 2 in my home office.

One would think that little armed disagreement from 1861-1865 would supersede that; but, I am not a legal expert. I remember people also saying that when annexed Texas reserved the right to secede from the union. I don’t know if that was true, but I know when Texas tried it, again during the Civil War, that it didn’t work out too well.

Is there a special secret constitution that only Texas knows about. Must be discussed very late at night at whataburger or something.
Should of told the Union Army about that one, would have saved whole bits of trouble.
