Fritz doesn’t seem to be a HC to go away from his model and go to an up tempo offense. JMHO. He wants to control the clock and not compromise his defense.

I’ll gladly take Slade Nagle over Leftwich any day. I’ve watched his play calling completely melt down MULTIPLE times in winnable games. All those yards gained & only 7-5 in both seasons in the Sunbelt. Meanwhile, Slade coordinated a win against USC & Heisman winner Caleb Williams in the Rose Bowl… with a G5 roster!

This year Texas State lost to Sam Houston, Old Dominion ( scoring 14 points ) , ULALA ( scoring 17 points, and Georgia State. Their 7 wins were against :
Lamar
UTSA
Troy
Arkansas State
Louisiana Monroe
Southern Miss
South Alabama.
