I do too. I think the Halloween design is tacky. How many other schools do that anyways?
None. Other schools paint their field once and it stays that way. UH has a system that allows it to design a field scheme on a computer and print template with a list of necessary colors. It only takes a few hours.

Why do we even have school colors? Hell, just get a box of crayons and let a kid pick out a couple of colors for that game weekend. Of course, that would be subject to change also.

Our primary color is technically Crimson, as mentioned in the fight song, and Booster Club name among other things. But I think I’ve seen actual CRIMSON only very, very rarely over the 32 years Ive been actively attending, after leaving the Navy.
