Houston attempted 33 free throws to Bama’s 41. Are there any others you’re interested in?

CBS Gametracker was so busy in game.
It stopped.

and one broken clip board

how many did each team make ?for 33, ? for 41.

Team that made more baskets, shot better from the field and FT line, doubled up opponent on steals and +4 on blocks, had 3 fewer turnovers, scored more in paint and in fast breaks somehow LOST.

Bama won rebounding and FTs.

30-41
26-33

Gotta hit the freebies.

We had five players in foul trouble, two of which fouled out. Alabama had one starter with four fouls. Not one other starter in foul trouble. They did have one bench player in foul trouble. They literally grabbed and reached at our guards the entire game. Honestly, I’m surprised the game was this close. We played them again with a fully healthy TA and Francis and the game is called differently, we win.

I usually agree with this point, but looking at the stats, coogs beat the tide in FT% battle

Yeah, but they had four starters not in foul trouble playing during crunch time

Hell, even the commentators were saying after the game that there was no consistency with the way the game was officiated. I completely agree. Thankfully this wasn’t an NCAA tournament game. I just think the refs blew some obvious files at the end that could’ve helped us get to the free throw line, meanwhile, they helped Alabama get back into the game by sending them to the free-throw line.

True! Just needed a few more to fall in regulation and the OT debacle is avoided.

You can go to the espn site.
One clear stat that I am concerned about.
Against Auburn we had seven assists to 14
Against bama in OT we had eight assists to 14.
We clearly need a leader, Someone has to quickly step up. Mr. Shead is not so easy to replace.
