Idk about you guys but I am stoked for Antone’s. I love those subs. Served cold and prepackaged, they are ideal for a football game.

The WAFFLE BUS IS BACK!!!

Worse than “percolating below” you… Who wants to walk under those port-a-potties with hot ripe turds percolating ABOVE YOU!!! :poop::scream:

I have only been over to the home side 300s a few times, but I didn’t think there was any “deck” space under the seats to add concessions or restrooms. My recollection is going straight up stairs directly to the seats, with no 300 level concourse.

Am I remembering that correctly?

  • Freddy’s Steakburgers – Stand 138
  • Hugo’s Mexican Cuisine – Stand 130
  • Stuff’d Wings – Stand 114
  • Waffle Bus – Stand 103
  • Wing Quarter/LA Burger – Stand 201
  • Funnel Cake House – Stand 214

No Turkey Leg Hut though. :frowning:

There is room. As you go up the stairs there is shell space that is closed off you walk by to get to the other stairs to up to seats.

What are you going to post about now that the bus is back?

I haven’t really purchased a lot of food at the stadium. Antone’s subs are pretty tasty. How much does a typical stadium entree cost? Killens raised the prices at minute maid. Brisket nachos were $21 I believe. Good, but yikes

If I did not have a parking pass, I don’t think I would attend a game. That parking situation looks like it is asking for trouble. I like the text-to-pay system says if it is down, you can’t use the lot. Not to mention that it is timed and you have to rely on a text message to extend you time. What happens if internet is slow in the stadium?

Curious, since I have not used them here, do the food hawkers walking around have to process the credit cards right there? Isn’t that slow passing credit cards back and forth down a line of people. I assume they are also cashless.

Train is cool, but still have to drive to the train and park somewhere for that.

Yeah I think if I was a casual local cfb fan who decided to come check out the utsa game and had to drive around to find the cash garage, pay $30, then walk from the spur to the stadium, I might not come back.

I’m sure we make up for it on the increases to the regulars, but still

Yep, to bring in new people, the experience of the game has to be great across the board. Easy to get to the game (train or parking), fun game (not necessarily a UH win, but competitive), food and drink with normal lines, and bathrooms. Also plenty of water stations for the hot days.

Make the experience enjoyable and people will come back.

Went to a NASCAR game once. Had fun at the event. But with 80,000 or how many trying to leave afterwards was a nightmare. Huge huge lot, with only two single exits. Took 3+ hours to get out of the lot. I’ve not gone back or even watched a NASCAR event since then.

That’s a good question…

I suggest the price increase.

Every big school has issues with parking. At least you are not parking in someone’s yard and walking 1-2 miles. Most fans don’t get to park outside the stadium. I think I would have set the price point at $20 for the cash lots.

We park at the Palm Center for free, ride for free, and are dropped at the stadium.

Yeah $30 for a 3/4 mile walk might be a bit much.

(but please let’s not tell them about the free street parking in university oaks… I’m not that sympathetic)
