I saw that Mala Sichuan Bistro is listed further down.

I’ve never been to their Chinatown location, but my wife (who is from China) and I have been to their Katy and Sugar Land locations, and their Szechuan style hot pots are spicy, delicious, and (according to my wife) VERY authentic!

Dallas only had one? How did Austin beat us?

There are a lot of big expense accounts in Austin, and they get used a lot

Might explain how Austin is ranked #1 in debt. They’re all eating out!

Maybe overweight too!

A lot of out-of-state restauranteurs will go to Austin first because it’s trendy -or- they get their start as UT students with access to deep pockets. Ultimately Houston will get a version. Like this: Uchi - Wikipedia
