We have ours tomorrow and there are some other ones coming up. Some interesting ones to note are

Miami vs Florida
Michigan vs Marquette
Oklahoma State vs SMU
Texas vs Colorado
UConn vs Virginia
UCF vs Florida Atlantic
Iowa State vs Northwestern
Kansas State vs SMU
Marquette vs Missouri
Villanova vs Penn State
Georgetown vs Pitt
Duke vs Villanova

and then some other teams we play are scrimmaging like Stetson and Towson but I forgot who they are playing.

Georgetown beat Wake Forest 81-77 behind Jayden Epps 46 points a few days ago.

We play Ole Miss. That’s the only one I know of. I have not heard anything about playing Duke again

We can only do the one scrimmage since we are playing Pembroke in exhibition game on 28th

Ahh that makes sense thank you. If I recall we only scrimmaged Texas in 2022 when we had the exhibition against Montana Tech

Arkansas played UT-Tyler today. Unfortunately I missed the stream but they ran up the score. Fans are quite pleased but anyone can look like a champion playing a d2 school.

Baylor looked really good against Mississippi Valley State last year and ended up being not that good. We just have to wait and see.

I know it’s a preseason scrimmage but that doesn’t give me much confidence

My guess is we shot about 15% from three and relied on defense to win.

I’m not bothered one bit……this staff will have our guys ready when it matters

That scrimmage mustve been played early

Cause some UH players were at the football game today. Maybe the plane ride to Mississippi is short

They do sell booze at UTT baseball games, so it’s not totally dry.

Ole Miss will probably be a much improved team this year with Chris Beard so I wouldn’t be too concerned.

They do have some decent transfers with Allen Flannigan and Brandon Murray. And you never know if freshman will pop off like Noah Clowney did last year. He was good but most didn’t expect first round pick from what I remember. You’ll never know how good a team will be. Chris Beard is a good coach but outside of good talent (culver, Hunter)he struggles offensively and can have a stagnant system. So I’m concerned with them putting 66 on us. It’s just a scrimmage and 66 isn’t terrible and we didn’t even get to watch the game but ehh. I feel lower on this team then I didn’t at the end of last season.

I thought with some nice guard transfer and a legit big man we would be better this year but that didn’t happen. We have brought it up before but with a legit big man this group could have a much higher ceiling.
