Schools in Session, Viral Illness Rising

If you got kids in school, you may already be aware of this going on. Rhino and covid leading the way so far…with 18% positivity each.

One kid with covid so far; symptoms relatively mild and paxlovid was NOT prescribed due to overall health of kid and symptoms.

Paxlovid is very effective. I took it with Covid about a yr ago and it really cuts the length and severity of it.

Different here. Took Paxlovid and was much worse than Covid, had to get off it after 2 doses and immediately started feeling better.

I still haven’t gotten Covid for some reason. Or if I did I’ve been asymptomatic

Only got the primary series of vaccines.

Had a sister came down with covid about 3 weeks ago. She took paxlovid and had good results within 24 hours.

I got COVID for the second time a couple weeks ago, and it’s rebounding now. My doctor wouldn’t prescribe me Paxlovid because it’s apparently only recommended for severe cases and vulnerable folks.

I don’t think I ever got COVID. Not vaxxxed either

I couldn’t take it when I got it a few years back due to a conflict in medications. I think he prescribed Molnupiravir for me, which is far less effective but it pretty much worked. Just flu like.

I will be getting the new booster, likely today.

Yep, schools start and kids get sick. Been going on since there’s been schools.

True, but if you have immuno compromised kids or high risk adults, it’s a new world.
