Prime to Colorado

You’re right…we missed our window of opportunity…afterTCU rejected him. No guts…no glory.

LOL, because of the timing it was never going to happen here. But no one should love on Sanders just because they hate DH.
That said I hope Colorado does well and gets back on the map before Prime up and leaves…
Also must note if I were a TCU can I would not have been too happy about Sanders talking the Frog back who got hurt and lay on the field.
Prime was one of the folks who came to see the kid and encourage him while he was down…that was good, but to even mention that the kid once begged to go to play with the Buffs and Sanders was entirely out of line.
Love Sanders, but that was totally uncalled for…

As much as I like the Deion hype and story, I think the overly “chip on your shoulder” coming from them is starting to get a bit old.

Gee, wish we had recruits calling every number in our facility.

I couldn’t have been more direct in expressing what we would have gained had we pulled the trigger last fall.

This would have been a program changing type of hire.

CDH’s buyout was the least of the concerns when you considered ALL we were going to gain by hiring Coach Prime.

…and until OUR leaders say they contacted him, and he wasn’t interested, I am confident he would have accepted a Big 12 job IN Texas over a PAC job outside of Texas.

The other benefits we are seeing were given to whatever school gave him the job.

How often does a once in a lifetime coach fall in your lap…and you choose to PASS over that opportunity over to keep Dana!!

How long has Big Noon Kickoff been a thing? I have always known about College Gameday but never paid attention to them.

I believe its a new thing

Edit- Yep, just started in 2019, highlights a Big 12, Pac 12 or Big 10 game every week.

This ship has sailed. Coach Prime is on to bigger and better things. It was definitely a big opportunity missed. Credit to CU for getting it done!

Edit: Colorado has now surpassed Ohio St. for college football’s most expensive ticket. Wow.

Nonsense. Everyone was bad mouthing them saying they wouldn’t win games. Not only are they winning they’re doing it with a good style of football. It’s funny to an extent.

Plus I like seeing him talk mess online. He calls people out. I would’ve liked UH to be in the news every chance they get if in some magical world we hired him.

Only 5 other players I see that would get that type of coverage

JJ Watt
Drew Brews
Joe Burrow
Andre Johnson
Any of the Mannings

In all fairness, if CDH calls a coach or his team out, he is accused of not taking responsibility, being too negative or honest, or just a cranky old coach. Maybe he is closer to Coach Prime than any of us realized.

Coach Prime without the results

It’s crazy how one man can change a football program overnight. The school, the city, hotels and restaurants are all raking in cash $$.

True Prime is a unicorn…not going to see anyone like him in your lifetime again. That’s why it was worth the gamble…CU was desperate and threw a “Hail Mary” and scored big time just like Roger the Dodger did…TCU ( including us)and other’s just too comfortable with the mundane.
