At this point we need to move on to Rice, but any talk about Colorado not being able to afford Prime was probably only to drive donations. They are not Ohio State but are far above a school that just left the AAC. They did over $19m in ticket sells alone last year, they may have been 1-11 but they have a healthy athletic department, however, they did receive $10m in school funds.

Maybe Fertitta is a man of his word and would not fire CDH after 2 winning seasons and needed a coach who had experience transitioning to the B12. And of course, the buyout does not make business or financial sense.

I think it’s great. I hope they win all their games except beating us. I don’t we have ever played them so as far as I’m concerned they can beat Tech and Baylor to smithereens every year.
