I can’t get over how off the writers were on this one. Don’t know if I remember seeing this much discrepancy with a preseason poll (vs. eventual reality) in any sport. Crazy!

Their turnaround with a first-time head coach (at any level) in his second season is remarkable. That team has made huge strides just over the course of this season.

Honestly was there anyway anybody could have guessed the order? Transfer portal, 8 new schools over the last 2 years, and a lot or rosters that have similar talent.

I think you have to give a bit of wedge to some of these schools
Kansas for example, is a mere few plays from being a 9 or 10 win team, and BYU is the exact same except being a 4 or 5 win team
yet, only ONE of our schools will make the CFP

I think you could even make an argument that Army should have the B12 spot (assuming they win the AAC). Only loss so far is to ND.

Army is not as good as you think……they were drummed by ND.
I think ASU or ISU beats them comfortably.
That is why they are “writers”
