bleh! Folks say that Ale only looked good because it was garbage time at UNLV…but what was our final drive last night, did Iowa State really have its 1’s and 2’s in up 20 points with 5 minutes left?
The last drive our QB, ran for 1 yard on 1st down, threw an incompletion on 2nd down, sacked and fumbled on third down (we recovered it though), and then threw an interception on 4th down.

What a lame response. If he doesn’t have any idea or hasn’t looked at a 3rd QB, then he’s not doing is job.
Even if Ale is completely off the table for playing time for whatever reason, a coach doesn’t go into a game without an emergency plan at QB.
Pure garbage.

He did not like the Ale question. Wonder if there is some animosity in the locker room. Some players when they don’t get a chance (and they really deserve one) can say some things. I’m not saying it’s an issue. But egos being what they are can keep you on the bench.
Anyway, something has to give at QB. It is killing this O when you cannot throw past the sticks on 3rd and 4.

It’s killing the entire program. Without some signs of life on offense, the rest of the team is going to struggle and the fab support will continue to disappear.
If the fans saw something in QB3 I’m very limited action, you can be sure the players have seen it too.

Pre season I thought we could win between 4-6 games. I really don’t see anymore wins this year unless we get a return or pix 6 (maybe in the same game) to help the defense. The defense looks good until they just get worn down.

Have you watched the defense this year? If our starting linebacker doesnt tear his knee, he was on pace to make an all big 12 team, this team will have several all big 12 defensive players

No, I never watch defense when I go to the games. 
Our defense should put up stats - they’ll have more opportunities than anyone else. 
Even if he doesnt want to play Ale, theres still Sock, Edwards and Wijay. Whats the point of having these guys if they’re not going to play?

If they can’t crack the starting rotation we have now they should’ve retired in Junior High

Man, you win cynic of the week. The defense put up stats because they kept the team in the game for four quarters… rarely last season did i feel we ever had a chance to win

We beat WV on a Hail Mary
Pretty stout…can’t imagine why we got rid of him.

CWF doesn’t act like he has a viable third option. Maybe Ale pissed him off and he can’t think of any option behind Chriss. No one else gets practice reps or likely shows knowledge of the playbook. McMickle injured.
