The blue lot is what we get with season tickets? I thought that the blue lot was over by the Cameron building.
Can you park at the Fertitta J Tillman Family College of Medicine for free and catch the train at the MacGregor Park station?
MacGregor Park might be a no-go. Something that just crossed my mind is that the park may or may not close. There are gates on the entrance driveways there that may or may not get locked on occasion.
Iâd hate to recommend it and then you get locked in. And itâs really no more convenient than Palm Center. Palm Center parking lot has no gates.
To answer your original question about safety, Iâve never had any issues there but your mileage may vary. Iâve lived nearby (south of Yellowstone) for over 20 years and other than a bicycle getting swiped out of the front yard once, have never had any problem in the neighborhood. Being honest, some people feel âunsafeâ any time theyâre around groups of Black people. If youâre in that category then youâll feel unsafe. You might smell marijuana. If that makes you feel unsafe, then youâll feel unsafe.
thanks for the heads upâŠhow early does one have to get there?
GO COOGS!!
No idea. Figure they open a couple of hours before. I used them once when Coach was selling BBQ as a fundraiser.
I park in the garage so I canât give you details.
thanksâŠ
It appears that the Blue Lot parking is sold out. I am looking to purchase two passes. I can buy for only one game or for the season. Thanks!
FYI- I am willing to trade tickets for parking passes, too. Games available Section 131 - WVU, Cincinnati, UCF.
Look in your inbox.
So, I just got the email below regarding parking hang tags. This is a good idea to help direct traffic, but 2 days before the 1st game? Câmon.
Thank you for your continued support as a 2023 Houston Football Season Ticket Holder and Cougar Pride Member in our historic first year of competition in the Big 12!
This season, weâll continue to use mobile parking passes for all home Houston Football games at TDECU Stadium. With ongoing construction on our roads and walkways across campus, Houston Athletics has been hard at work crafting an updated traffic management plan. This plan aims to streamline traffic and enable Season Ticket Holders to enter and exit their assigned parking lot(s) as quickly as possible on gamedays.
To help implement the updated traffic management plan, Houston Athletics is providing a hang tag for the parking lot(s) youâve been assigned for each home game. Physical hang tag(s) will be mailed out to you before our Big 12 kick off against TCU. For the first game we are providing this digital option to print for your dashboard. This hang tag will serve as a parking lot identifier as you approach TDECU Stadium, enabling police, parking lot attendants and others directing traffic to guide you to your assigned lot(s).
You will receive one (1) hang tag for every Houston Football Parking Pass you own for each game.
Please display your hang tag(s) from your rearview mirror upon arriving at your assigned parking lot(s). Rest assured; weâll continue to scan your mobile parking pass(es) as you enter.
Remember, the hang tag is NOT your parking pass; parking passes remain mobile.
Got the same email.
So how do people get to stay parked if you transfer the pass, but still have the hang tag?
They can get in with the scan, but then might get towed? or is just to get directed only?
What if you do not have a printer at home for the game this weekend? If it is just for directions, would you need it if coming late?
All I know is that Iâm not printing those things out and cutting them up to size. When they get their crap together, Iâll follow suit.
