Right now they would because our coaching is shoddy. I think we would have beaten them in 2015 and 2016. Maybe even Case Keenum in 2011 as well. I think there is fear there though. It’s not a “we can’t beat them” fear. It’s, “I don’t want what happened to OU, happen to us” fear. Losing to Alabama and teams in the SEC is easy to shake off. They already lose to our peers like Tech and TCU and Baylor. But losing to UH, who they have gotten their azz kicked way back in the day would be embarrassing to them.

Its about hatred and leverage. When you’re the front-runner you don’t want to debate. If you hate the other guy you can double that.
This should come as no surprise to anyone. Both schools want no part of the Big12 and especially do not want to play Houston. Good riddance.

I say make them stick to their contract.
Our best stops were a missed catch and a terrible pass. Our big field position gains were a personal foul and a bad kick.
