Glad the Rockets apparently showed no interest in Jimmy Butler. If it was 4 or 5 years ago I would’ve loved to add him to a roster like this but he’s definitely lost a step. Sounds like we are showing interest in Fox. Curious the asking price for him would be.
Green for Zion? Who says no?
Zion has never played an entire season….dont know that he has the heart to be great.
And yeah, I didn’t understand giving all the Nets picks back for the Suns picks….seemed uneven to me.
I like Butler but yeah, back in a trade for Harden….not now.
I don’t know what the salaries are regarding matching….but Green for Butler and we get the better of a pick exchange….gives you a two year window to win a Championship……unless Butler plays like LeBron……
I have never been a LeBron fan for different reasons….but he has my respect and then some now……to play at the level he is at his age!?
He’s got to be part cyborg.
I just don’t know enough about Zion to say yes or no just that when he is on the court he is one of the top few difficult guys to matchup with in the league. If he ever plays 70+ games he can put up monster numbers.
Yeah, the Rockets don’t look like a championship contender to me. Too many guys in the lineup are too inconsistent, especially on offense.
They’ve made great strides on defense, but there’s still too much of last year’s offense at crunch time.
Reed scored 49 ( 50% shooting) in his first game in the G-league….great way to build up some confidence….
Too much good food in Houston to bring Zion here…
Do you think Zion can fit into the seats at Ferttita?
Saw the highlights from last night (Reed). Dude was on FIRE!!
He is going to be really good……this may be exactly what he needed to get going.
Here is a description I received on the game
off and on ball scored in the paint took I think 19 three-pointers something like that had a couple mid range pull-ups transition. Ended up taking 31 shots I believe and like I said, he started out ice cold from the field (1-5) bad body language head down, hit a three and then just exploded from that point. If you look at the line score, you’ll see that he only had I think six free throws or four free throws but remember in the NBDL you only take one free throw for two points so really that’s the number of times he was fouled and went to the line so you double that and that’s what he would get an NBA game. Plan is for him to be there. I think two more games then they’ll call him up because there’s a break in the NBL they’ll be back with the Rockets and don’t know what happens after that. One thing that I noticed was that he wasn’t a guy that just walks on the court in immediately is consistently shooting well he needed to have the ball in his hands. He needed to get a few shots before he loosened up and then just exploded.
Man, if any of y’all have kind of forgotten about the Rockets, you should give them another look.
These dudes are balling out.
good game tonight for sure
What a great game. Finally have a good team again. Fun to watch. Not quire as fun to watch as the Coogs but they are my second favorite team to watch.
Five Amen Thompson whatever he wants. Has not developed a reliable 3-ball, yet he’s the most important player on the team right now.
They had 2 good wins coming in to tonight at home against Cleveland, and then @ Cleveland the same night The Coogs were having the game of the decade against Kansas.
It is a good time for Houston Basketball right now.
Dillon the villain ties the franchise record for 3’s in a game. This team is no fluke.
Amazing how the team changed last 2 yrs just adding a couple veterans to go w the young ones. Van Fleet holds it all together n Brooks is our Vernon Maxwell or Ron Artest .
Then you add Grizzly Adams to mix this year. Much funner to watch now
And the coach has gotten them to actually play hard.
They’ve surprised me over the last month.
They are 31-14 including 16-7 on the road. It has been a while since they have been this good. They have came a long way from the team that was almost unwatchable a couple of years ago.
