If we repeat that again next game can an OC seriously keep their job?
I know this thread is redundant but that is beyond incompetent.
That would put us at nearly Comedy Channel levels of media insulatory.

Thats what worries me. Not firing the OC or replacing Smith all complete. Not bringing a true pocket passer from the portal regardless of talent.

You pretty much answered your own question. We keep thinking another equally bad performance gets him canned. He calls the bluff and raises (or lowers, depending on how you think about it) the bar of incompetence the next game. Then we find ourselves back here asking the same question again. If he can get worse each game and not get canned, repeating definitely wont get him canned.

I am seriously concerned about our university brand when we get to this level of incompetence. I know for a fact that Travis Bush could have scored at least four times during that time frame with this roster. Maybe more. And I consider Bush to be the most incompetent OC in my lifetime of supporting UH. In fact, if the university were to ever employ him again I would move to Anchorage and support the polar bears or whatever they are before setting foot on Cullen again.
That tells you how worried I am about this guy Barbay.

As much as I’d like that to be true, I don’t think that will be the case. I think if he pitches another shutout the chances greatly increase, but I think we could see Barbay finish this season.
