I agree. I keep going back on the quote I heard as part of the original announcement (maybe from Tilman) that said that Willie Fritz will be the âadult in the roomâ. Serious, focused, calculated decisions.

Last weekend I was at a Christmas gathering for my wifeâs family. One âyoungerâ cousin, who is a coach now in high school, attended Sam Houston when Coach Fritz was there.
He said Coach is a great football coach. I think we made a great hire.
Joe, you can now see why I have been pumping him in our last 4 hires. I think he will do a lot better than folks may expect.

I am hoping the timing works out perfectly
I had a former JUCO basketball head coach tell me the same about Kelvin Sampson just after we hired him for basketball. He knows him personally and said UH made a great choice.
