Even 30 years ago, that wasn’t going to buy much. What did Shasta live in if that was going to be an improvement?
I thought it was a grassroots efforts among the students who held certain animal rights beliefs that were popular on campus at that time.
If I remember there was either a student senate vote or possibly a referendum of the students at that period in history.
I guess the about 40 year old crowd would know.
