Matt Ungasheck is new NIL Director for FB. Is this a new position we didn’t have previously?
I am under the impression Landon Goesling was doing both FB & BB

Interesting…I honestly don’t remember, but yeah, iirc, Landon took over once Holggi Jr. left the position.
Shick Happens!
This sounds like a new position. LG is VP of Sales and Development for LinkingCoogs.
I think Logan was an “agent” for LinkingCoogs in some capacity.
This NIL Director position should take some of the burden off the Head Coach and AD to get things done.
I believe LinkingCoogs is a separate legal entity from UH. It had to be set up that way to comply with NCAA rules.
this shows UH is willing to adapt rather than die in the new world of college football athletics
good sign in my opinion, just win baby and everything will set itself up
Explain…
Explain… don’t defer…
This sounds like the replacement for Logan Holgorsen, with maybe some additional responsibility, since the title is different. This is with LinkingCoogs, not with the UH Athletic Office. Logan was primarily the LinkingCoogs NIL guy for UH football. Logan left LinkingCoogs shortly after Dana left UH and I am happy that LinkingCoogs now has a dedicated person for UH football.
I cannot speak to the new man’s qualifications, but lets all hope he succeeds.
This feels like exactly what just about everybody above is saying? What am I missing?
Does anybody know a MAILING ADDRESS for this UH collective?
I went on to the Linking Coogs instagram page…there’s no phone# nor address listed, but it says ‘NIL Marketing Company powered by @thelinku.’
So I clicked that instagram handle and it took me to The Link U’s profile, where I further clicked to their website. Here’s what was found under the ‘Contact Us’ link…
Highly needed, should have happened sooner. This is affecting all of our programs. Every Div 1 school is experiencing it. I mentioned it earlier. Rosters are being reduced. Expect a major change in collegiate sports. The biggest one in many decades.
A did a quick Google search and these links came up.
UH definitely has room for improvement in fan participation in NIL. I find it disjointed and not easily accessible for the average UH fan.
We need to get better quick and we are. That is more than needed.
Thank you! I found that too… It strikes me as strange that somebody that wants money has no regular mailing address;.
Watch out:
Dear NIL Sir:
I have been requested by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company to contact you for assistance in resolving a matter. The Nigerian National Petroleum Company has recently concluded a large number of contracts for oil exploration in the sub-Sahara region. The contracts have immediately produced moneys equaling US$40,000,000. The Nigerian National Petroleum Company is desirous of oil exploration in other parts of the world, however, because of certain regulations of the Nigerian Government, it is unable to move these funds to another region.
You assistance is requested as a non-Nigerian citizen to assist the Nigerian National Petroleum Company, and also the Central Bank of Nigeria, in moving these funds out of Nigeria. If the funds can be transferred to your name, in your United States account, then you can forward the funds as directed by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company. In exchange for your accommodating services, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company would agree to allow you to retain 10%, or US$4 million of this amount.
However, to be a legitimate transferee of these moneys according to Nigerian law, you must presently be a depositor of at least US$100,000 in a Nigerian bank which is regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
If it will be possible for you to assist us, we would be most grateful. We suggest that you meet with us in person in Lagos, and that during your visit I introduce you to the representatives of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company, as well as with certain officials of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Please call me at your earliest convenience at 18-467-4975. Time is of the essence in this matter; very quickly the Nigerian Government will realize that the Central Bank is maintaining this amount on deposit, and attempt to levy certain depository taxes on it.
Yours truly,
Prince Alyusi Islassis

They are at Hooks Airport in Spring they probably keep their address low key because LinkingU the parent company now represents 84 schools.
Looking thru the Link U’s website again, I believe this company is a 3rd Party because they have 8 total partnering schools, including UH.
So the Link U (under which Linking Coogs is a part of) serves other NIL collectives & individual student-athletes across 84 total schools.
It’d be cool if @monceaux could get someone to clarify how this works on GoCoogs Live or something like that.
