They want to punish schools like Duke and North Carolina for legislation that the state makes yet Baylor still has an FBS football team.
The NCAA needs to worry more about cleaning up the NCAA.

Agree…the NCAA along with pro hoops and football has no right to interfere or to preach political beliefs to us. Politics will eventually be the damnation of sports if this trend continues. Don’t those idiots know that at least half of America disagrees with their liberal slant?
How were Duke and North Carolina punished? Surely you aren’t talking about having to play in Greenville, SC? So they traded an hour on the bus for less than an hour on a chartered flight? Jeez, how did they survive???
Maybe you don’t know the full story, but the NCAA can make it’s own choices on where it hosts its event. If it doesn’t want to host it in a state where a boss can fire an employee for the color of their skin, their religion, or sexual preference with no laws in the state to protect those employees, then they don’t have to. This isn’t a fascist country so they have that freedom.
Whether liberal or conservative, it doesn’t matter. It’s a ridiculous law because of the birth certificate part but the city of Charlotte, Duke, UNC, etc have nothing to do with making that law. Leave that for the courts to decide.

The state of Texas has been warn by the NBA & NFL as far as that law goes.
