BUDS is known for its former athlete pipeline especially D1 swimmers
Had 5 in my OCS class, plus a team 5 chief who wanted to keep being an operator. One of the guys was a lacrosse bro from Johns Hopkins. My best run was trying to keep up with him for as long as I could.
