This is my second favorite day of the year. It is only behind NCAA men’s basketball semifinal Saturday.
My picks for the Derby:

  2. Just Steel
  3. Fierceness

I enjoy it as well. The Triple Crown is still a must watch series for me.
Plus, leading up to the races, I love the reruns of previous races. Secretariat never ceases to amaze me.

The Kentucky Derby is a crapshoot. I wish they would limit the field to 14 horses

In today’s kentucky derby history was made with that 3 horse photo finish. The 2nd and 3rd place horses were bumping into each other in the stretch over and over and they said one of those horses simply does that each race. No protest by the other jockey and team but I’m 100 percent sure the 2nd or 3rd place horse wins this race if not for the bumping bc that is a lot of resistance and cost them both the race.
