some are waiting for the “right” job as some have been offered gigs at levels they may not win at

My guess is that they are paid pretty well as far as assistants go.

So, no urgency to grab the first available opening–wait for something you can build on.

Also, I’d suppose all of them are pretty interested in winning it all and sense that we’re really close.
